the groundwork -----------------------
GENERAL
Be respectful to all members and staff. If you have a problem with someone, take it up politely with a staff member and the matter will be resolved.
Religious events are not celebrated on this site because everyone in the world does not believe the same things. Please be considerate of others. (refer to rule number one if you have trouble understanding that concept)
No cussing out of character. It's rude.
No degrading anyone for their race, culture, religious views, etc.
CHARACTERS
All characters must be between the ages of 13 and 18. This is a high school/boarding school.
You may choose to age your characters however you would like. If you don't want a character to reach the retirement age of the site (18), then just don't age them. That's entirely up to you.
Fill out the form completely or you will be rejected and will have to start over. Now that would suck.
HORSES
Your character is not required to own a horse to join the site. Horse riding is the leading program of Estrella Ardiente, but it is not required.
If your character wants to ride in the program, there are horses that the school owns for your character to use. However, you are free to own a horse of your own.
Estrella Ardiente is also connected with a fictional stable called Setting Sun Stables that sells horses for the students to buy. Feel free to visit that site by going to the stable boards and visiting the link there.
To receive money in order to buy a horse, you can participate in shows and other activities around the site that will give you money. The money is calculated in your custom title on your profile.
BREEDING You must post the form in the breeding board to have your horse bred.
Both horses must be part of the site, and you must have the other horse's owner's ok (if your character doesn't own the horse you're wanting to breed yours with).
Mares will stay in foal for one real life week. Butterfly Wings will post the foal's info after that week is complete.
Foals must stay in foal form for two real life weeks. After those two weeks, you must post 4 times training the foal in the boards before it is ridable. You may also have someone else train your foal for you.
SHOWING Shows will be held in one of two ways:
Most shows will be judged using a randomizer which will randomly choose a person from the entrants for first, second, and third places. After the winners are chosen, an admin will post the results and prizes will be given out.
The second way shows are run is by roleplaying your character's role in the show. Posts will be judged according to grammar and quality. When the entries have been judged using a judging system set up specifically for judging these shows, the winners will be listed and prizes will be given out.
THE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING UP-TO-DATE WITH THE RULES.
